HSCHA Series Lightweight Aluminum Hollow Cylinders
Engineering Overview & Structural Features
The HSCHA Series Lightweight Aluminum Hollow Cylinders combine high-tonnage tensioning and pulling capability with exceptional job-site portability, forged from ultra-high-yield 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum alloy to deliver over 50% weight reduction versus conventional steel cylinders. Operating at 700 Bar (10,000 PSI) working pressure with capacities from 20 to 150 Metric Tons, every model features a precision through-hole bore accommodating pre-stressing tendons, tie rods, and cable stays, complemented by a self-aligning floating center tube, deep hard-coat anodized surfaces, and a removable 6mm protective steel base plate for heavy field reliability.
HOLLOW PLUNGER & FLOATING CENTER TUBE
Through-hole center bore allows both push and pull forces for post-tensioning strands and cable pulling. The self-aligning floating center tube isolates rod deflection and side load stresses, dramatically extending internal seal life.
COMPOSITE BEARINGS & HARD-COAT ANODIZING
Reinforced composite bearings eliminate metal-to-metal contact to increase sideload resistance and cycle life. Full-surface MIL-spec hard-coat anodized finish resists abrasive wear, scratching, and severe atmospheric corrosion.
STEEL BASE DEFENSE & HOLLOW SADDLE
Equipped standard with a removable 6mm hardened steel base protection plate and bolt-on hardened hollow steel saddle to protect lightweight aluminum surfaces against point-load gouging and job-site abrasion.
INTEGRAL STOP RING & RAPID RETRACTION
Integral stop ring prevents plunger over-travel and withstands full rated cylinder capacity. High-strength pretensioned return spring ensures rapid retraction, paired with heavy-duty handles and ASME B30.1 compliance.
