Engineering Overview & Structural Features

The HDCX Series Double-Acting High-Tonnage Cylinders are engineered specifically for heavy industrial lifting, bridge positioning, foundation leveling, and large-scale structural maintenance. Operating at 700 Bar (10,000 PSI) working pressure with standard capacities from 50 to 1,000 Metric Tons, the series incorporates powered hydraulic retraction for controlled return under back-pressure, integrated safety relief valves on the retract circuit, and factory-standard self-aligning tilt saddles to neutralize eccentric side loading.

Powered Hydraulic Retraction

Double-acting hydraulic return delivers full retract force and controlled cycle timing, ensuring rapid plunger return regardless of hose line length or circuit back-pressure.

Standard Tilting Saddle

Factory-fitted 0-5° self-aligning tilt saddles equalize contact pressure across the load surface, dramatically minimizing internal side loading and cylinder barrel scoring.

Integral Plunger Stop Ring

Machined heavy-duty stop ring limits full-stroke extension, prevents accidental plunger blowout under pressure, and provides vital structural resistance against lateral load spikes.

Retract Circuit Over-Pressure Relief

An internal safety relief valve on the retract port discharges accidental pressure surges caused by load induced flow or connection sequencing errors, safeguarding operator and couplers.

Hardened Chrome-Plated Plunger

Premium forged alloy steel body protected with high-density baked enamel, combined with hardened hard-chrome plunger plating to resist grit, moisture, and extreme outdoor corrosive elements.
