Engineering Overview & Structural Features

The HDC-LN Series Double-Acting Lock Nut Cylinders combine positive mechanical load holding with powered hydraulic fast retraction for precision-controlled structural lifting, bridge repositioning, and heavy machinery leveling from 50 to 300 Metric Tons at 700 Bar (10,000 PSI). Hardened mechanical lock collars allow full rated tonnage to be mechanically sustained for extended periods without hydraulic pressure, while double-acting operation provides rapid, positive retraction under all operational site conditions.

Positive Mechanical Load Holding

Lock nut provides mechanical load holding for a safe work environment. Low-friction lock nut spins easily along the plunger, saving time and effort on demanding jobsites.

Hydraulic Controlled Fast Retraction

Double-acting hydraulic return delivers rapid, positively controlled plunger retraction, independent of load presence or external gravity forces.

10% Side-Load & Tilt Saddle

Designed to withstand up to 10% side load of maximum capacity, paired with an integrated tilt saddle allowing up to 5 degrees of angular load misalignment.

Dual Bearings & Weather Protection

Replaceable bearings enclose the plunger external and internally for full-stroke support. Hardened surfaces resist cyclic wear and weather protected inside and out.

Collar Threads, Rigging & Stop Ring

Certified lifting eyes, base mounting holes, and collar thread as standard for flexible fixturing, with an internal stop ring to prevent plunger blow-out.
